Black Spots on Rose Petals

Ive got a small number of large rose plants in my garden that have become covered in black spots, is there any way i can get rid of these without full prunning

What you have is called simply "black spots". There are a few chemicals available in the market that take care of it (Ortho and other companies) You'll have to spray the brush a few times and they'll go away.
