Fusarium wilt in my tomatoes

Many of my tomato plants are falling ill with fusarium wilt. I really don't want my harvest decimated, but I don't have many other options.

Each year my peonies bloom beautifully and then as summer progresses then wilt, turn brown and look dead. When I cut them back today, I noticed white "stuff" on the stems. This has been going on for years. Luckily they come back, but it does seem to spread.
