Property Service Providers in Northeast Georgia

There are many many property service providers in North Georgia. Why choose us?

I’d say trust is the number one factor when allowing workers to come on your property. We have a section on our website  here that lets or clients tell about their experiences with us. We are not a big company so you don’t have to worry about crews coming out that we just hired the day before. We are small and easy to get in contact with. Some big lawn care companies are basically marketing machines that send managers out to smooth over every problem that arises with their work. We take care of our clients the right way each time we come out to service the property so we don’t have to “smooth things over” constantly.

Contact us today to handle all your property service needs.

Mowing Leaves

As Fall rolls in the leaves are slowly dropping. Many people mulch the leaves up with their mowers, including me. This could be a safety hazard on lawns that are new to you. Lawns we mow all season we get familiar with all the stumps and holes, etc. Leaves can cover stumps and holes which can lead to mower damage and possible injury. So take it a bit slower on leaf cleanup with mowers.

Property Improvements In Georgia Winter

When the grass growth slows down in November what do you need to do to your property? It is easy to think you can just sit back until Early spring of next year and do nothing. But that just puts you behind and leaves your property and the exterior of your home in a mess!

Below is a list of things I recommend for off season work on your property in Northeast Georgia. We offer most of these services if you need help. Contact us.

  • Mulch up leaves… they hurt your lawn if too many of them just stay there.
  • Keep gutters cleaned out.
  • Put out rye grass which grows in cold weather. It helps keep lawn healthy while other grass types go dormant.
  • Trim low hanging and unhealthy tree limbs.
  • Trim hedges.
  • Put out pinestraw after leaves have all fallen.
  • Pressure wash house before putting up Christmas decorations.
  • Aerate the lawn.
  • De-thatch the lawn.
  • Do a soil test to see what your lawn needs to be healthier.
  • Sharpen lawn mower blades.
  • Winterize mower gas.
  • Treat your lawn to prevent fire ants in late Febuary or early March.

Fall Weather in Jackson County Georgia

With Fall comes leaves in Northeast Georgia. That means gutter clean outs and yard cleanups. These things can be time consuming as well as dangerous because of ladders. If you live in the Jackson County area we can help you with these tasks. Contact us today with any needs you have for lawn care in the slow growing season or sign up for next season’s mowing.

A couple tips on leaves. Use a tarp to move large piles of them. Try doing this with the help of your mower also. Wait until all the leaves fall before putting new pinestraw on beds. This way leaves don’t fall on top of the nice pinestraw. And you do not have to remove the leaves from the beds. They will decompose under the straw.

    Grass Prevents Mud

Got mud? Well that is what grass is for! With all the rain we have been blessed with in Northeast GA, bare spots in a yard are now mud. The way to prevent that is to ….. grow grass there. Simple steps will ensure no more muddy junk tracked into your house from your bare lawn.

    Georgia Rains

Now is the time to conserve water,,,,, when it is plentiful. If we wait until droughts like 2007 then it is too late. Heavy rains fill water barrels. Scarce rains do not. I know many people are hurting from the floods and that is terrible. For those who are just inconvenienced, let’s not complain. In 2007

we were begging for rain, even a quick shower.
